Queens New York Sheraton Hotel

In the New York borough of Queens, there will soon be a dual hotel project with two popular Starwood brands. Flushing Meadows - Corona del Mar and Element Queens announced today that they will open in the same building in the Sheraton neighborhood of Queens, north of the Queens Convention Center.

The hotel, owned by Century Construction Group, will have a 1,500-room hotel, 2,000 square feet of fitness center and a rooftop pool. Other well-known attractions include the Empire State Building and Queens Convention Center, as well as Grand Central Terminal. It will also provide access to Arthur Ashe Park, Queens' largest public park. A hotel under construction this year is expected to bring 2,110 rooms to Queens and the more populous Brooklyn. The Sheraton offers shuttle services to and from the Queens area and a shuttle to and from the New York subway. The property offers direct bus service to the Brooklyn, Queens and Brooklyn Bridgebound subway stations, as well as a bus terminal on the corner of East 96th Street and Broadway.
